Why Art Matters: Our Foundation's Purpose

Group of children and adults holding hands, smiling

The arts are so much more than just a pastime; they're absolutely essential for human development. At Artfinix Works, we believe the arts are a fundamental pillar of a thriving life and a vibrant community. It's scientifically proven that connecting with our creative side profoundly impacts us cognitively, socially, mentally, emotionally, and psychologically. We've all felt this power – the song that moves you, the artwork that mesmerizes you, or the design that simply brings a smile to your face. These experiences aren't accidental; they're the deliberate creations of imaginative minds, designed to evoke connection and spark wonder.

Parent Testimonials

Young boy playing keyboard, school concert

"The teachers are excellent, and their passion for music comes through in their instruction. My son enjoys coming to class because it's FUN! I not only hear the music he is learning during practice, but I hear the laughter and joy! The students are kind to each other and work together in their jam sessions. The director has built a culture that is inclusive and inviting for all members. I highly recommend Artfinix!"

Two boys playing guitar and keyboard

"This place is amazing! My boys were taking lessons elsewhere, but I heard they would perform here, and they do! The teachers are amazing. Brandon has incredible energy and is so creative! The summer camps were awesome. The teachers are thorough and give a recap after every lesson. My boys can't get enough and are playing at Reggies next week. What an amazing experience! I’m so grateful to have Artfinix in my neighborhood."

Amanda - 2 years

Girl playing keyboard with band

"Brandon's enthusiasm is contagious, and it's matched by his competence. His master's in music theory shines through—my daughter not only plays well but understands how pieces are constructed. Brandon has created an environment that respects each client's uniqueness. He’s not running a music lesson factory; he’s truly investing in each individual. My daughter has flourished under his direction, and we are thankful to have found Artfinix!"

Adrienne - 5 years

Energetic female vocalist performing on stage with band

"These aren’t the boring piano lessons you remember! Our son started learning fun pop songs that he was excited to play. Brandon has designed a curriculum that is engaging and responsive to students' interests. Our son also got to choose his favorite song to learn. Brandon’s passion for music is contagious. Students learn how to read music and technical skills in a fun way. I’m amazed at how much our son has learned in just three months. Artfinix has created a fun, optimized learning environment."
