🎸 “Bats, Ballads & Black Leather: The Ozzy Era”

Greetings Ozzy Cast,

I hope all is well with everyone and that you’re as excited as I am for today’s rehearsal! Since everyone was required to learn all five of the songs they were cast in, we should be able to move through the setlist quickly. I’ve also added an additional song to ensure all of our drummers have pieces to play.

In addition, I’ve included the next six songs that will be on deck for Round 2. No stress — we won’t begin working on these until November. However, I strongly encourage everyone to start creating your lead sheets for the upcoming repertoire before November, just as we did for Round 1. (For my procrastinators out there — aim to complete one song per day. It’s much easier than cramming at the last minute!)

Please take a moment to review the updated cast list, locate your name, and fine-tune your parts. I can’t stress this enough: every part matters. Don’t neglect sections that might seem secondary — yes, that includes background vocals!
