Immediate Concerns Regarding Campus Conduct and Equipment Use

Good Morning,

I am writing this message with a great deal of disappointment. Over recent weeks, I have observed a concerning pattern of items disappearing and equipment being mishandled across our campus. This includes shared water containers, instrument gear that has been broken and deliberately placed out of sight, and tools being removed from toolboxes and not returned.

As I have stated many times, accidents happen. When they do, I expect honesty and accountability. Unfortunately, during my cleaning of the school this morning, I discovered additional broken items hidden throughout the space, which indicates a continued lack of responsibility and transparency.

Most concerning is the disappearance of a specialty double door keyĀ that has remained in the same designated location for years. This key resembles an Allen wrench and is critical to securing and unlocking the campus. Without it, I am unable to properly secure the building, creating a serious safety and liability issue. I expect whoever moved or took this key to return it immediately, either to its original location or directly to me.

I must also remind everyone that Artfinix is a renter of this space. This is a shared facility, and we do not own it. Continued disregard for shared property, equipment, and community resources is unacceptable. If this behavior persists, I will have no choice but to restrict student access to certain areas and equipment.

Effective immediately, no student is permitted to roam the buildingĀ or leave their assigned rehearsal space/Lesson. This applies regardless of whether you are actively playing during a song or waiting for your part. If we are unable to conduct ourselves with greater respect and discipline, privileges will be revoked.

It is unfortunate that the actions of a few are impacting the entire community. However, expectations are clear. I expect better judgment, better care, and better conduct from each of you.

Sincerely, Brandon
