Welcome to Sound Lab – Create Your Own Hits

Dear Musicians and Parents,

We are thrilled to welcome you to Sound Lab: Create Your Own Hits—a brand-new program that I firmly believe will become one of our most exciting and sought-after opportunities in the future. Each of you is a pioneer in this first-ever session, helping bring to life something we’ve been dreaming of offering for years.

You are here because you are ready to stretch your creativity and challenge your minds. Let me be completely transparent: this will not be a “follow-the-leader” program where you simply copy what is shown. Instead, this experience will require you to learn, analyze, study, and then create.

The exciting part is that you will not be alone. We have a wide range of resources and industry professionals eager to share their expertise, guide you through the process, and help you bring your ideas to life. The goal is for each of you to finish this program not only as stronger musicians but also as songwriters and composers capable of crafting music that is uniquely your own.

Imagine the pride of being able to say, “I wrote this song.” There is nothing more rewarding than hearing your own creation played back, shared with others, or even performed by fellow musicians. That sense of ownership and freedom is what makes songwriting such a powerful art form.

Program Expectations & Assignments

We will be using an online course (link to be shared soon) that will include:

  • Instructional videos

  • Quizzes to test your understanding

  • Weekly assignments to apply what you’ve learned

Because this is a team-based program, it is absolutely vital that everyone completes their tasks on time and with quality. Each person’s work contributes to the larger mix, and if one person lags behind, it holds back the entire group. We cannot afford that kind of setback.

To be clear:

  • Incomplete or late assignments will directly affect your team’s progress.

  • Consistent failure to complete tasks may result in removal from certain group projects.

  • Staying prepared ensures the whole team succeeds together.

What You’ll Gain from Sound Lab:

  • Creative Development: Learn the art and craft of songwriting and composition.

  • Analytical Skills: Break down songs and understand what makes them impactful.

  • Collaboration: Work with your peers to create something greater than any one person could alone.

  • Professional Guidance: Receive mentorship from experienced musicians and songwriters.

This season is going to be an incredible journey of growth, creativity, and innovation. Together, we will explore the art of songwriting and composition, and by the end, you’ll have original work that you can proudly call your own.

Let’s get ready to create the hits of tomorrow.

Best regards, Brandon
